THE NEW BANKRUPTCY LAW (New Course!) This course makes a comparison of the most relevant aspects of the new Brazilian Bankruptcy Law (Law n° 11.101/2005) and the U.S. Bankruptcy Code recently
amended. Leading professionals in the area will give their testimonies. The course provides an overview of the concepts, mechanisms, and institutions of both laws, such as liquidation and rehabilitation, debtors/creditors relationship, secured and insecured debts, bankruptcy courts
jurisdiction. Designed specifically for law firms associates who provide services for international clients and need to interact in English with them, in order to draft legal opinions, or to explain them how the new bankruptcy law works in
Brazil. Learn technical terms, improve your pronunciation and be prepared for a meeting or conference call with clients and/or other colleagues. A certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete the course.
